What to Expect

 

We know it can sometimes be a little intimidating to visit a new church for the first time.  We want you to feel comfortable and at home at Epworth.  Here's what you can expect on your first visit....

 

Our parking lot is located at the rear of the church on the corner of Lancaster Street and Lancaster Terrace.  On-street parking is also available on each of these streets.  The main entrance to the church is located on the corner of Salisbury Street and Lancaster Street.  Once inside, our Greeters will be on hand to welcome and direct you.

 

Our regular weekly worship service takes place at 10:00am each Sunday.  Services are held in the main Sanctuary (except for the summer months when we move downstairs to the cool of Fellowship Hall).  Worship is led by our Pastor, Organist and Choir and includes singing, prayer and Bible teaching and the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly.  You will see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to suits.  We want everyone to feel comfortable and "come as you are" is our policy.  After the service we join together for coffee, donuts and fellowship in Fellowship Hall.

 

Children are encouraged to participate in our service, which includes a Children's Message.  After this message, children may stay with their parents for the remainder of the service or go downstairs to our Nursery (for children aged 4 and under) or to our Sunday School classes.
