Small Groups

 

We offer a number of opportunities for spiritual growth and connecting with others in a small group setting. 

 

"Exploring the Way” - An Introduction to the Spiritual Journey"
If you have ever wondered what the spiritual journey is about or wished you understood better the language of spirituality, this course is for you.  If you have ever desired to be part of a small group that explores questions and issues of faith but felt anxious or too busy to commit to a long-term study, this group is for you!  This series explores basic practices of Christian spirituality…it's a taste of “Companions in Christ,” in six, one-hour sessions.  For more information, contact Pastor Erica at pastor@epworthworcester.org.  6-weekly sessions Mondays OR Wednesdays 7:00 p.m. (daytime group available if enough interest) beginning the week of February 18.  Call the church office (508-752-2376) to register.

 

"Companions in Christ" is a small group exploration into faith practices including worship, scripture reading, prayer, discernment and more.  If you're looking for a way to connect with others on a Christian journey, to be closer with God, to explore questions of faith in a safe confidential place, to laugh and learn and grow - this is for you!  Check out our September newsletter to see what others who have participated in this group have to say about it, or read the story of Companions in Christ to learn more.  Groups meet for 28 weeks and schedules are determined by participants' schedules (typically there are daytime and evening groups).  Contact the church office to register your interest ahead of the next session.
