Opportunities to Grow

Sign Up for Summer Church Camp
Now is the time to think about discovering all that a summer Christian Camp experience can offer with fun programs that will strengthen your child’s faith!  There is something for everyone in your family at one of five United Methodist Camps in New England - Camp Aldersgate in North Scituate, RI, Camp Wanakee in Meredith, NH, Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, ME, Rolling Ridge in North Andover, MA, and Covenant Hills in Cabot, VT.  We have registration forms in the church office or you can check out the camp websites link at www.neumc.org/pages/detail/104.

Or you may choose to stay in town and attend our Elm Park Ministries Day Camp…registration is now open for campers and junior counselors.  Two sessions of camp run Monday-Friday, 9-5, at Trinity Lutheran Church, July 30-August 3 and August 6-10.  The camp is sponsored by 10 churches surrounding the Elm Park neighborhood and is staffed by professional camp counselors from Camp Calumet, an accredited summer camp in New Hampshire.  Contact the church office for registration forms.

Scholarships are available for all of our church camps.  Please contact Pastor Erica for info.

Prayer Group Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
We will join together in prayer for ourselves, our friends and family, our church, our nation and our world.  Please submit prayer requests to the church office or via our Prayer Request page.

Bishop Weaver's 2012 General Conference Episcopal Address
Peter D. Weaver, Bishop of the New England Conference, gave the Episcopal Address at the 2012 General Conference of The United Methodist Church, held in Tampa, Florida, and you can view the video of the address here.  In addition, watch the video and hear the story of James Makuac, the artist that created the powerful paintings that were showcased in Bishop Weaver's address.
